In 2005, Coastal Stone & Cabinetry embarked on its journey from a modest start in Fairhope, Alabama. Our roots trace back to the heart of the Gulf Coast, where we first opened our doors as a natural stone fabricator and installation contractor. Over a decade of dedicated service has allowed us to cultivate an unbreakable bond with the communities we serve. Today, owners Stephanie Hale and Preston Childress bring a collective experience of over forty years to Coastal Stone & Cabinetry, ensuring that our customers continue to rely on our team of adept professionals.

As our reputation grew, so did our ambitions. The original shop on County Road 48 could no longer contain our dedication to excellence. In 2008, we proudly inaugurated an expansive 18,000-square-foot facility, purpose-built to house a remarkable showroom, a vast natural stone warehouse, a dedicated project warehouse and a state-of-the-art stone and countertop fabrication shop. This new space marked the dawn of a new era, empowering our team with cutting-edge technology. Our digital precision for cutting and robotic polishers for edging has allowed us to bring meticulous craftsmanship to every project while our skilled fabricators find ample room to refine the intricate details of diverse undertakings. Furthermore, our sprawling outdoor yard serves as both a staging area and an exhibition space for the bundles of natural stone that grace our inventory.

In 2015, we expanded our offerings to meet the comprehensive needs of our customers. Complementing our premium countertops, we extended our range to include a plethora of finished products that harmonize with countertop selections: backsplash tiles and materials, tiles, wood, vinyl, laminate and engineered flooring, custom showers, cabinetry, hardware and plumbing fixtures. By gathering these diverse elements under a single roof, we transformed into a one-stop destination, fulfilling the entire spectrum of design needs for our valued clients.

Generally, I do not write reviews, but Coastal Stone & Cabinetry did such an AWESOME job, I had to! From the moment I walked in the door of their showroom, I was greeted by a very knowledgeable individual. He listened to me regarding my vision for a built in TV/storage/office space for the master bedroom. Within a day, he had emailed me several design ideas for the space. Within a few days I had the final design plan. He took care of every detail of ordering and scheduling the project. All of the employees that took measurements and completed the installation showed up on time; were professional and easy to work with. I only wish I could post the before and after pictures of the project.

We enjoyed our experience with this company. All the staff were very helpful and polite. They helped me find exactly what I was looking for in a granite. Measurements taken were exact, so installation went smoothly without a hitch, and was done in a timely manner. They've been in for 6 months and are still stunning. We love them.
